Beautiful old building. Amazing room with balcony ovrrlooking the beach. Friendly hosts. 20 min walk to pubs, cafes and restaurants which is great for walking after a meal.

Stayed here for the night and was the best place we have stayed in by far. The service was excellent and all the staff were super friendly. Our room was amazing and it was so nice to be able to lie in bed and listen to the ocean and watch the sun come up. Thankyou so much for all your hard work. We will definitely be back. I struggled selecting a hotel for our anniversary celebration in Kaikoura, but am so pleased that I booked the Kaikoura Boutique Hotel. We had a beautiful room and balcony overlooking the ocean. The service was great and the continental breakfast was perfect.
